Delegate Edward P. (Ned) Carey
Democrat, District 31A, Anne Arundel County
In his short time as a member of the House of Delegates, Ned Carey has stood with small business interests on a number of issues. As a member of the Economic Matters Committee, Carey opposed the Prevailing Wage Rate Law-Penalties and Liquidated Damages Bill in 2015 and also voted against the Sick and Safe Leave Bill in 2016.
Carey, who holds a degree in urban planning from the University of Maryland in College Park, also serves on the Regional Revitalization Work Group and is a member of the Maryland Cybersecurity Council.
