In her first year in office, Delegate Mary Ann Lisanti has shown to be a supporter of small business interests. She serves on the House Economic Matters Committee, including the Business Regulation Subcommittee, and has been instrumental in defeating legislation that would negatively impact the merit shop construction industry. During the just completed session, Delegate Lisanti voted against both the Mandated Sick and Safe Leave bill (H.B. 580) and the Prevailing Wage- Liquidated Damages bill (H.B. 689) in committee. She also serves as a member of the Regional Revitalization Work Group and the Maryland Sustainable Growth Commission.
