Anchor Mechanical LLC was formed in 2012 by three owners who had previously worked together in the construction trade. The trio of Dave Deibel, Mark Huntley, and Gabe Fetty, had been employed by a company that didn’t place emphasis on the wellbeing of their employees. They noticed how that lack of employee focus affected business performance.
When they founded Forest Hill-based Anchor Mechanical, Deibel, Huntley, and Fetty, who still serves as principals, were determined to make employees a priority. The company believes in promoting from within, and empowers employees by offering training from the best available trade school. Anchor Mechanical encourages employees to invest in their future, and also matches up to 3 percent of employee contributions into a simple IRA plan.
Anchor Mechanical takes pride in their employees, and their employees, in turn, take pride in their work. The mechanical contractor’s recent projects include Brandt Army Reserve Base, Baltimore VA Hospital, Bank of America buildings in Hunt Valley and Seneca Valley, and the GMBC Patient Pavilion.
