Margaret “Peg” Neville, principal environmental health and safety consultant for HazTek, started her career in safety and risk management earning her Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) license and working as a risk reduction manager.
Neville earned a degree in environmental and natural Sciences and continued with graduate certificates in construction management and environmental public health. With a residential construction background, she became interested in industrial hygiene with a focus on hazard communication for inhalation toxins at construction sites. For more than 10 years, Neville has also been a principal instructor for lead, mold, asbestos, and silica training courses and for food establishment process safety and hazard reduction.
She currently provides construction site safety audits and teaches certificate courses in lead and asbestos. In addition, Neville has been a County Medical Reserve Corps volunteer and was deployed during Hurricanes Irene and Sandy.
